[Plugin: Gwyn's Imagemap Selector] How to 'target="_blank"

I have the same problem
All is working fine except the target=”_blank” doesnt appear in the code that the programe generates

the code generates
[area shape=rect alt=”surfsup” target=”_blank” title=”surfsup” url=”https://ubuprojex.net/hearpen/surfsup.html”%5D299,2,444,170%5B/area%5D

and I put the target=”_blank” in manualy
[area shape=rect alt=”surfsup” target=”_blank” title=”surfsup” url=”https://ubuprojex.net/hearpen/surfsup.html” target=”_blank”]299,2,444,170[/area]

But it still doesnt work

Any ideas?

I put the target=”_blank” in twice by mistake

I have encountered this problem as well. I actually got it to work with a link to a dummy site, but as soon as I changed the link to the actual links I need, the editor strips the target=”_blank” code out every time. Does anyone have a solution to this problem?
