I just want to send out my personal thanks to the creator of this plugin – It’s fantastic and exactly what i’ve been wanting for my website for a long time

You can see how i used it (and styled it) here: – https://f1stockcars.com/stadium-info/ — then click on any of the stadium locations

I came up against just one tiny issue when using the plugin, and that was not being able to enter a town (Kings Lynn) into the short code because it has 2 words

Very quickly i realised the issue was the ‘space’ between the words

To get around this problem simply use the following code to replace the space:
    %20

For example, for my Kings Lynn issue i typed
    Kings%20Lynn

    Full example:
    [gweather city="Kings%20Lynn" country="UK" temp="C" credit="0"]

Again – many thanks to the writer of the plugin

    Hi there,

I have just installed your gweather wordpress plugin.

Unfortunately I am getting an error message…

Warning: file_get_contents() [function.file-get-contents]: URL file-access is disabled in the server configuration /xxx/xxx/xxx/xxx/xxxxx/domains/blog.youcanmakeitifyoutry.com/html/wp-content/plugins/gweather/gweather.php on line 58

    xxx’s are my server address.

Can you please advise on this error.

Plugin looks just what I need if I can get it working.

    Regards,

    Ray

THANK YOU for this great plugin !
Works great for me but I use a rock-solid theme.
I had a lot of plugins not working properly with “average” (probably too quickly written) themes…
By the way I didn’t see on citynews.co.za any section concerning your plugin. Even if it has no connection, you should try to put a small link somewhere (maybe at the bottom of your page) going to a page introducing briefly yourself and your plugin.
Just an opinion…THANK YOU again !

    James

GWEATHER plugin works great with post codes in the UK

As long as you completely omit ALL spaces in the post code it will fetch the correct data, or at least from the closest reporting station.

    This is an example:

    [gweather city="LE167QE" country="UK" temp="C" credit="0"]

This example will fetch the data for: Market Harborough, Leicestershire LE16 7QE just by substituting the city with a space-less post code.

I’ve used the default style here:
    golf course weather

Absolutely brilliant plug-in, many thanks for it, I agree with James you should publicise this a bit more..
