[Plugin: [GWA] AutoResponder] Won't add subscriber; won't send "Welcome"

  • Version 4.0.4 WP:Today’s version

    I installed the ARGWA Free Autoresponder from WP. Installation appears to have been OK.

    I changed “From” address. I added subscriber form to sidebar.

    When I fill out and submit subscribe form, no email welcome message is sent to the new subscriber (me) and no subscriber is listed in the dashboard.

    It appears ARGWA autoresponder is not connected to my email system. There are NO instructions as to how to do this.

    Anyone understand the problem or have a solution???

    Also, I’ve spent about 3 hours trying to solve this problem. I can find no good support forum. This one might be the best, but most posts are months if not years old. Generally, the writer does not get his question answered. Is there good support somewhere and I am simply missing it?

    Is there another free sequential autoresponder available for WP?

    As you might have guessed, I’m frustrated with this product and its support. It sounds GREAT —but it’s only great for me if I can get it to work!

    Hmmm—three days and not a single response.

    And I left a support ticket with the maker. Shortly after I posted this post, I got a response (after two days!) He said he could work on it within the next 24 hours. That was up a day ago.

    I have concluded that the ARGWA Free Autoresponder has essentially zero support and apparently very few people using it.

    I’ve looked for a free sequential autoresponder for several years. Found one from Ohio; its support seems to have disappeared. Found one from Singapore; it seems very complex.

    Can you recommend a reasonably good and free sequential autoresponder, either for WP or not WP?

    Hi, it looks like a form code issue.

    You can try to modify or generate a different code. For example, you can use the Gwa Form Builder (https://formbuilder.freeautoresponder.biz/).
    Just create a new form there, then copy & paste the new code into your GWA plugin.

    Or, maybe there’s some conflict between ARGWA and your wordpress theme.
    Try it with some other theme.

    I am more frustrated, I have upgraded to pro, but I still face the issue of Zero support. My advice to anyone is to stay away from them, not worth the time and effort.

    Same problem here. NO SUPPORT from them.
    I opened a ticket more than 30 days ago and still waiting for an answer…..
