[Plugin: [GWA] AutoResponder] Fatal error on Unsubscribe, and other glitches

  • Fatal error: Call to a member function get() on a non-object in /home/content/n/t/h/nthnlsmmrs/html/freetrafficworks/wp-includes/query.php on line 10

    That’s what is shown when an unsubscribe link is followed. The user is still unsubscribed, but they are not shown any confirmation, just that error message.

    Also, I seem to be having trouble getting the confirmation messages for subscription and on error to show up properly. Actually, they worked for a little while, but now they don’t seem to show up at all. It’s pretty strange.

  • That is a strange error, it is a database class error I believe. I will look to see what caused it and see if I have any suggestions.

    It is difficult to determine what is happening without your error logs. If you get me whatever is being generated in your http/apache error_log when you get the fatal_errors this helps a lot. Just download the current error_log immediately after generating a few errors and email it to me describing what you did…

    I’m not sure how to access the error log with Godaddy. Is it possible that it is a database version issue? I know some plugins don’t work with certain versions of mysql. The thing that throws me is that the result is that the email is removed from the list… so it functions just fine. But somehow throws a fit afterwards.

    Has anyone found this error when activating this plugin?

    Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_NEW in /usr/www/users/guardiyu/wp-content/plugins/autoresponder-gwa/ar_gwa.php on line 1658

    Does anyone know how I can fix it?

    Yeah, i’m getting the same fatal error too. Before i upgraded to wp 2.6.2, it was working just fine. now, it’s not responding… help!!

    Download the latest plugin. The version you have is php4 only.
