[Plugin: Gurken Subscribe to Comments] Warnings

Guys, sorry to bother you. I don’t understand these coding stuff but, could you stop fighting and focus on the job? Can’t you guys come together and improve ONE? It’s like my brain seperated.

We’d like to take over development of Gurken Subscribe to Comments, but Martin Spütz is very hesitant to give up the plugin. Alas, he doesn’t have the intention of developing Gurken Subscribe to Comments either. Which is his right.

So all in all, the subscribe to comments situation is a right mess.

There is NO reason for my fork to live at the moment. Did you read that I’m using camu’s plugin on my own blog?

FolioVision didn’t send any code or detailed information on the whole “spam-sending-problem”. I really don’t have the time for this.

Don’t use this or any other subscribe to comments plugin fork except subscribe to comments reloaded!

I will create a new version of my fork and put this warning straight on the admin page.

Is there any why to close this thread?

Furkan, I’m sure camu will honor your post!

My goodness Martin, not quite sure what all the animation is about. First you didn’t like camu (as documented above), now you don’t like us. We would be happy to work with you, but will not be participating in Subscribe to Comments Reloaded development for the reasons outlined above (dangerous code, sock puppets, personal attacks, etc.)

To the community, we’ll likely be releasing an alternative version of Gurken’s Subscribe to Comments as Martin is closing the original down completely.

We are running into some scaling issues on a site with over 300,000 comments and would like to resolve them before releasing anything.
