[Plugin: Greg's High Performance SEO] secondary_title displaying blog_title in WP MS

    I’ve been through and through the instructions and the settings, and can’t figure out what I’d doing wrong. 98% of the default settings, I left in place. I placed

    <h3><?php ghpseo_output('secondary_title'); ?></h3>

    in my theme, below the regular title, so that I could make use of both. Is this possible, or am I doing something wrong? Because instead of displaying the content I’ve put in the Secondary Title field of the post, it’s displaying the name of the blog.

    This is a MultiSite install.

    Hi andrewhouse,

    You didn’t mention what theme file has this code, but if it is on a single post or page outside the loop (the only place where secondary titles work at all), and you have set secondary titles to be enabled, and you have left the replacement for single post secondary titles as %post_title_custom% (or the page equivalent), then all should be well.

    Thanks for the response, but I’m quite clueless to most of what you said. I apologize for my ignorance.

    I placed the code I mentioned directly below the post title code for all pages of the theme where it appears… single, index, page, everywhere. I expected the forward-facing result to be something like:

    Hello World! (default wp title)
    I love to say “Hello” (GHPS secondary title)

    But, it didn’t happen that way.

    you have left the replacement for single post secondary titles as %post_title_custom% (or the page equivalent)

    Laymans terms please. I have no idea what that meant. :p
