Forgot to mention “Enable Legacy Plugin Titles?” is selected and can see description and keywords in post (in source).

I noticed this odd behavior and am awaiting an answer to your question. I don’t want to have to go in and copy the old AIOSEO data into this plugin’s fields. Clearly GHPSEO has found the AIOSEO data, and uses it, but needs to populate its fields for every post/page.

The Yoast SEO plugin does exactly this (it has an “Import from other Plugins” config page/tool).

    Hi Michael,

Don’t copy AIOSEO data to AIOSEO fields, I tested it and got duplicate keywords. So you will get it repeated twice in front end page, one time from AIOSEO and one more time from AIOSEO. Didn’t get duplicate description, weird.

    Thanks, I appreciate the feedback.

It would be good if GHPSEO would just copy the AIOSEO legacy fields into its own fields on each page, like the Yoast SEO plugin does. There must be something I’m missing here.

    Cheers.

Sorry I meant don’t copy AIOSEO data to GHPSEO fields.

Yes I absolutely agree with you.

    Hi folks,

If you’ve had a peek at the plugin’s documentation or any of the plugin’s admin pages, you’ll know there’s a support site and a FAQ for GHPSEO where this question is answered. (You’ll also know that I do not normally provide support via the www.remarpro.com forum.)

    All the best,

Actually I checked you documentation (I will read it again), but there is not answer to my question.

Yes I know that your plugin “automatically detect and use information”, but I was thinking why these information are not imported to GHPSEO fields and is it just me or it is normal.

Keywords and description are not visible in admin so it is not editable.
Can you include something like import to GHPSEO fields option?

    Thanks

Looking forward to the same info. I need to get rid of AIOSEO as my host reports it uses a lot of CPU resources. But I do not want to lose out on the hundred’s of posts with metadata that has been indexed in google.
