    hi munman

what field type are you using for the hierarchical taxonomy? If you use a dropdown list, it populates the hierarchy correctly.

    cheers

    Hi Brad,

It is a normal multiple choice field.

It does populate the field in the form with the taxonomy, the check boxes are there.
They are just not arranged in hierarchical fashion.

    Instead of:
    Fiction
    Historical Fiction
    Literature
    People & Places
    Religions Fiction

    It should be:
    Fiction
    indent> Historical Fiction
    indent> Literature
    indent> People & Places
    indent> Religions Fiction

showing the indentation of the first, second, third level
    hierarchy.

I guess I could use the Dropdown field though…. Might actually be better for long lists.

    Anyway, that is the issue.
    Thanks for responding so quickly.

    Brad,
Is there a way on the Dropdown field that the top level of the hierarchy could be bold text, and the second level of the heirarchy could be bold italics text?

    Example:
    Fiction
    -Literary Fiction
    -Religious Fiction
    –Biblical
    –Historical
    –Mystery
    NonFiction
    -Arts & Entertainment
    –Architecture
    –Art
    –Dance
    –Fashion
    –Graphic Design
    -Automotive
    –Classic Cars
    –Customize
    –Driver’s Education
    –History
    –Industry

That would be a great improvement when scanning down hundreds of items!

    Thanks!
