• Hi,

I love your plugin. It has been making life so much easier, though admittedly I’m still learning how to use both Gravity Forms and it…and custom taxonomies. (I’m still trying to design my concept and get it to be functional.)

Anyway, I was wondering if it’s at all possible to set up something like the categories module of the add/edit post screens since they are technically a hierarchical taxonomy. You know, have all the values of a taxonomy (ie. genre) dynamically populate as checkboxes but also have a link at the end that allows the submitter to “add new genre” on the fly if there is one not available — for example, what if I pre-populated the genre taxonomies but forgot sci-fi? When a submitter adds a bookmark to a sci-fi story, he or she should be able to add that genre.

Of course, I have a selfish reason for wanting to do it this way rather than use auto-fill — if the previously entered “tags” are viewable for selection, then misspelled duplicates or similar multiples are less likely to be entered, meaning searches will be more meaningful later and my inner-neat-freak will be more at peace. ??

If this is possible, how do I do it? I have not found documentation for this particular plugin and I’m not as intuitive with it as I would like. ??

    Thanks in advance!
    J.

    Hi Jenny

This is a great idea and I think it would be more widely accepted than the autocomplete field. I will look at the code that is used within WP and see if I can copy that ??
