Jeff, this option is in the Types plugin rather than the Gravity Forms + Custom Post Types plugin. At least, that’s the mistake I was making.

After having found my error, though, I still cannot get this to work properly. Good luck to you.

Hi, I have just downloaded and installed Gravity Forms Custom post types plugin and I also am not able to see the Populate with a Taxonomy checkbox either.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

    Many thanks in advance.

    Kind Regards,

    Deb

Finally figured this out and figured I’d post a resolution in case anyone is still having the issue…

Once you’ve created your Custom Taxonomy, make sure you have at least a draft post of a CPT using that taxonomy.

Once you’re adding/editing your Gravity Form, just use the regular ole Drop Down field (NOT a post field) and you should see the Populate w/ Taxonomy option.

    Cheers,
    Carrie

Thank you Carry, you saved my life ??
I also noticed that I had to re-create a couple of fields that for some reason didn’t show the taxonomy options even after the creation of the first custom post.
    Just my two cents.
