[Plugin: Graphic WP Sitemap] Fullscreen view in dashboard widget shows black screen

  • The view does open, but is extended vertically instead of horizontally. the graphics can be seen only bu zooming out as much as possible – then they are so small they are useless.

    I noticed that the demo on the plugin site opens too far dawn the page – hiding the exit link … With this demo zooming out a couple of time does show the screen.

    Using Firefox 8 in both instances.

    Using Google Chrome (v16 without any additional plugins) switching to full screen mode crashes the browser – windows reports runtime error.

    Look like the plugin needs a bit of work – good luck

    Sorry I never received notifications of these. I wonder whether I should subscribe to my own plugin’s feed?

    Can you send me your url? it must be css of your own theme / plugins messing my rules… or your theme embedding an older version of jQuery?

    I’d be glad to resolve it, if you still want it.

    Thanks for the info – RE the delay – it happens to all of us!
    I’m not using the plugin at the moment – but will try it again in the the (hopefully) not too distant future.
    I’ll set it up on a testing site to see if the same happens, with a few different themes, and let you have the details whatever happens. (I just need some time as I’m very busy right now).
    If required I can let you log in to the testing site as an admin.
    Hopefully you are correct about the CSS/Theme – I like the concept of this plugin…

    Actually I don’t need admin access, nor the plugin installed.
    I just need access to the dashboard of that site the plugin failed in, with any lower level privileges (e.g. author)

    That way, I’ll still be able to see the code for the dashboard and add the code generated by my plugin right in my browser to simulate it loaded with it.

    Even the url of the site would help me because remember: The graphic sitemap works with all the current pages if it doesn’t find a defined menu, and if you have tens of pages or more, organized in a non-tree structure, they would break the super-wide row of top level pages and would look vertically aligned, as you said.

    Using this plugin is a way to show whether either the page structure is good or it needs to be fixed for SEO purposes.

    The latter is a con if it is you who made the IA (Information architecture).
