Plugin got updated automatically via WP-CLI

  • We are using Godaddy Managed WordPress, and the Gravity Forms plugin got updated automatically via WP-CLI. I contacted Godaddy and they said they had nothing to do with it and told me to contact plugin owner.

    Updated plugin “Gravity Forms” to version 2.1.3 from 2.1.2

    This update broke our website, and it returned to normal after I flushed the cache on Godaddy.

    I wonder how the plugin got updated? Can Gravity Forms push the update in the background somehow or is that just Godaddy screwing up again as they usually do with Managed WP?
