[Plugin: Google XML Sitemaps] There was a problem while notifying Google/Yahoo/MSN/ASK

Same prob here. I’ve manually refreshed it, removed it and added it but nothing happens. It’s also saying that, “Your sitemap is being refreshed at the moment. Depending on your blog size this might take some time!” all the time.

Please update the plugin, this bug should be fixed now. If not, please rebuild with the debug build and see the Notices / Warnings section, there should be the responses from the search engines.

well, it’s working for now and faster than it was previously. I rebuilt using the debug mode, let’s hope everything continues as normal from here on out. I’ve never had problems with this plugin before so this was a surprise.

Yes, this was a pretty stupid bug caused by some refactoring. The pings actually worked, the result was just not returned to the user interface…

I have facing same error even I update the plugin to 3.2.2. I tried Rebuild the plugin in debug section but nothing happened. Debug option also showing me following error

Mine is failing to ping Ask after 10 seconds – latest version.

Same here, Ask and Bing…

Just started getting the same error this morning. I check the XML build status daily and I know it was not there yesterday.

I’m using XML Sitemap Generator for WordPress 3.2.2. Anything to help me resolve this would be very much appreciated.

I am getting the following error on the 3 sites using WP 2.9.2 and Google XML Sitemaps 3.2.3. I have done manual builds and still there. Any ideas how to resolve??? Thanks.

If you copied the Yahoo Application Id from your yahoo account and than pasted it into the “Yahoo Application ID:” field in the plug-in admin setting, it more than likely added a space at the end. Delete the space and rebuild – should fix it. https://www.reagroupsc.com
