    Hi,

    setup:
    XML Sitemap Generator for WordPress 3.2.4
    Wordpress 3.0.1

    what i’ve done so far:
    created an empty sitemap.xml, copied it into <wordpressdir>/sitemap.xml, changed permissions to 666 (and also 777 for testing, doesn’t work either)

    Any other ideas?!

  • My host doesn’t allow 666 or 777 – try setting to 755 and see if that helps.

    Hi,

    thanks for the answer. Meanwhile the automated sitemap generation works, manually creating the sitemap fails.

    ou and if anyone stumbles upon this thread later:
    I didn’t change anything, just waited for the auto-creation. File permission: 666.
