[Plugin: Google XML Sitemaps] problem uploading files

  • Hi
    This plug in looks great but for some reason the suggested .xml and .xml.gz files (i created using notepad) won’t upload to the plug in folder in my site’s directory.

    I understand this isn’t necessarily an issue with the plug in but was wondering if anyone else had the same problem and/or could suggest a way forward.

  • Never had to upload anything but the plugin itself (and usually installed from within WP-admin) and worked flawlessly.

    That’s good to know. But would that mean that any changes I make to my site post plugin installation wouldn’t be passed to the search engines in the xml sitemap?
