[Plugin: Google XML Sitemaps] Not working with WP 2.7

  • Since upgrading to WP 2.7, I’ve had to disable this plugin!

    There are a number of issues – the main one being that I’m getting a gzopen error every time I create a new post. I’ve followed the suggestions of chmod-ing the .gz file to 777, but it makes no difference.

    If I go to the config page and run it manually, I also get hit with a page full of curl warnings.

    Finally, on the config page, there’s no option to save any changes, so I’m stuck with my current config!

    For the record, I’m using v3.1.2 on PHP 4.4.9 on a linux host (from 1&1).
