    Hi all,

I’ve uploaded the plugin to my plugins directory in full. No errors there.

However, this plugin doesn’t show in my plugins manager in the dashboard. I have cleared my browser cache, triple-checked FTP etc.

Maybe the plugin is not compatible? Anyone got any ideas?

  • What version of WP are you running? What version plugin?

I run the same plugin on 2.6.5 and 2.7

Interestingly, the latest plugin version for SEO Title Tag isn’t showing either.

What ftp program are you using?

You should have the following within google-sitemap-generator:

    documentation.txt
    – img [folder]
    – lang [folder]
    readme.txt
    screenshot-1.gif
    sitemap-core.php
    sitemap-ui.php
    sitemap.php
    sitemap.xsl

Also check the permissions on the files and folders.

Thanks mate – i’m using Transmit.

    My directory (on server) holds:

    sitemap.xsl
    sitemap.php
    sitemap-ui.php
    sitemap-core.php
    screenshot-1.gif
    readme.txt
    readme-it_IT.txt
    readme-ar_AR.txt
    lang (dir)
    img (dir)
    documentation.txt

    Permissions files: 755
    Permissions dirs: 755

Have you recently upgraded to 2.6.5? Make sure you don’t have duplicate /wp-content/plugins folders. Rename a working plugin and see if it deactivates it in the admin.

    Also try clearing your cache.

    Hi Alan,

Sorry for the long time delay in response. I really appreciate your feedback and help on this.

The issue ended up to be simpler than that…. My host migrated me across servers, without telling me, and as such.. I was uploading the files to the old, decommissioned hardware.. instead of the brand-spanking new one.

Still facing the repercussions of this across the board.

Once I get all my sites stable again (if I ever manage to)… I will be upgrading ??

    Cheers
