[Plugin: Google XML Sitemaps] Getting a PHP Warning: fopen…..

  • Just noticed this php error that we’ve been having. It occurs every time a post is published. Any idea on what the cause is and how it can be fixed??

  • I changed the ‘location of the sitemap file’ in the settings from ‘automatic detection’ to ‘custom location’ and this fixed the error for me.
    p.s. make sure the absolute path and complete url are both correct.
