[Plugin: Google XML Sitemaps] /BLOG Sitemaps for Blogs Hosted in a Subfolder

I have a blog located in a subfolder of my domain at https://themarkpike.com/blog
Google reveals two different results at the top of a search for my name– “Mark Pike“.
One is for https://themarkpike.com and the other is for https://themarkpike.com/blog .
I would love to combine these results so that Google just revealed https://themarkpike.com.
Any advice on how to do this with the sitemap plugin?
