[Plugin: Google XML Sitemap for Videos] Hostgator primary domain blog doesn't work

    So I have a bunch of blog hosted at hostgator, the plugin works on any add-on domain but doesn’t work on the primary domain for my account.

    Oops!

    The XML sitemap was generated successfully but the plugin was unable to save the xml to your WordPress root folder at /home/1234567/public_html.

    Please ensure that the folder has appropriate write permissions.

    You can either use the chmod command in Unix or use your FTP Manager to change the permission of the folder to 0666 and then try generating the sitemap again.

    If the issue remains unresolved, please post the error message in this WordPress forum.

    With hostgator the folder permission of the public_html folder must be 750. changing to anything else will make the server return errors.

    Anyone found a work around for this?
