[Plugin: Google News Sitemap Generator] Google Error – Unsupported Sitemap format

  • Are you using the latest version of the plugin? An update recently came out. Try republishing then resubmitting.

    Using 1.5 which I believe is the latest but I will doublecheck. Thanks Matt I appreciate your reply.

    It has been more than a few days since we posted, so the sitemap is empty. Perhaps that is the issue. In any case, I’m still getting this from Google:

    Missing XML tag
    This required tag is missing. Please add it and resubmit.
    Parent tag: urlset
    Tag: url
    Problem detected on: Mar 22, 2010

    And here is the current sitemap.xml:
