On the plugin page, it says you can specify which folder in your Google Drive you want the backups to go into, but none of the settings in the WordPress ‘Configure Google’ console allow you to specify a folder.

The only folder set up I got was when I was configuring it I had to create a backup and db folder on my server with 777 permissions.

    Look forward to your reply.

And the zip file that downloads to my Google Drive, only goes into the root directory of my Google Drive, and had a very weird file name “1341532886.zip”

I’m hoping there is more customisation available for the file name and the actual folder it can go in. Previously I was using the WordPress to Dropbox backup, and you can specify a folder you want to have the backups go into such as /backups/wordpress/ etc.

Right now plugin is in development phase, we will update next version by mentioned features .

This plugin is a very good idea, but needs some things to improve, as the file and folder names, to have a better control about where and what are you copying, and also would be great to set a total backups number to keep. For example, if I want to keep the lastest 5 backups, when the next one comes, the oldest one is automatically deleted.

I also would like to know if the backup only includes the wp-content folder, or also the system files

Thanks for suggestion , we will make note of it .

First, thanks about the update which include use of directory.

I just have one trouble: it just rename the backup like NameOfDirectory_template and the backup stay at the root of the Drive.

You get the ID of the folder with the name given by the user and use this ID when uploading?

I’m looking forward for this intersting plugin, have a nice developpement…
