• When I try to install it I receive this message

Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_OBJECT_OPERATOR in public_html/blog/wp-content/plugins/google-calendar-events/inc/gce-parser.php on line 102

    Not sure why…

    Hi jrbk10,

This is almost certainly because the server on which your website is hosted is still running PHP4. Most servers run PHP5 now.

WordPress itself will no longer support PHP4 fairly soon, so it would probably be in your interests to upgrade anyway. If you get in contact with your webhosts they should be able to do this for you.

I should really make a note that my plugin requires PHP5, apologies for any confusion.

    Ross
