[Plugin: Google Calendar Events] linking to embedded calendar page

Hi Manzare,

When you say “click on a date..”, do you mean click on a cell of the calendar grid, or click on the date of an individual event in the list / tooltip?

The date in the calendar grid. I just want to set that to the Events page that houses our embedded calendar.

Also, the ajax isn’t currently working so I can only see the current month in the grid. How do I correct that?

So, you don’t want the tooltips to appear? You just want the numbers in the grid cells to link to your main events page?

Regarding the month navigation problem; are you using the Ajax version of the calendar grid? In the widget settings, the “Display events as…” option should be set to “Calendar grid – with AJAX”. Or, in the shortcode, the type parameter should be set to ajax.

You may also need to adjust the “Retrieve events from / until” and “Maximum number of events to retrieve” options (in the feed settings), so that events in future / past months are retrieved. The plugin won’t show the navigation links if no events in months other than the current month have been retrieved.

It wouldn’t be simple to make the grid cells themselves link to an events page.

However, using the event display builder feature of the plugin, you could add a link to your events page in the tooltip. You’d just enter the link into the event display builder field (under “Display Options”) in the feed settings:
