    Strange problem here.
I’ve used the plugin a few times on client sites, all with the same feed url because they’re all related. I set up some new wordpress sites and installed the plugin as I did before. However, this time I get an error message in the widgetized area of the page.
    This is the exact error:
“1 or more of your feeds could not be displayed. The following errors occurred:

Feed 1: Failed to connect to 2607:f8b0:4000:801::1013: Network is unreachable Please ensure your feed URL is correct.”

I’m 99.9% sure the URL is correct. Any ideas?

    Hello,

    Hmm, that’s odd.

Perhaps try using an IP address for Google in the feed URL, rather than www.google.com. So, instead of this:

    https://www.google.com/calendar/feeds/[email protected]/public/basic

    try this:

    https://173.194.41.134/calendar/feeds/[email protected]/public/basic

    or this:

    https://173.194.67.94/calendar/feeds/[email protected]/public/basic

Let me know how you get on.

    Ross.

Nope. Same error message. The other thing is that the page itself takes noticeably longer to load when the plugin is active on it. However, I’m suspecting the issue is actually server related and not being caused by the plugin. On a different server with an exact copy of the site, the plugin works just fine.

    Thanks

    Interesting.

The page load times are probably due to the plugin trying to retrieve the feed data on every page load, but the request is timing out (blocking page load is something I need to address in the future, but that’s another story).

The only thing that stands out is that the error message you posted contains a IPv6 address, so perhaps the issue is something IPv6 related. I’ll look into this and see if I can figure anything out.

Do other things that make remote requests for data work correctly (the “WordPress Development Blog” and “Other WordPress News” dashboard widgets, for example)?

Yeah, turned out to be a server issue. Thanks for the help and for the plugin.

I′m having the same error… don′t know what to do.

Feed 2: Failed to connect to Network is unreachable Please ensure your feed URL is correct.

It’s most likely not an issue with the plugin. In my case it turned out to be a blacklisted IP address – client with a weak password was compromised and began sending out massive amounts of spam. The IP was blocked and couldn’t perform any outgoing transmissions.
So, as Ross said to me above, check to see if your server is capable of sending anything out by checking the blog on the dashboard, or try searching for plugins through the new plugin page.

Yeah.. I′m not getting feed on my dashboard.. I′ll check server config.
I have this error: WP HTTP Error: couldn’t connect to host
    Suggestions?

You’ll probably need to contact your web hosting company. Hopefully they’ll be able to fix the issue, or at least point you in the right direction.

I’m using the calendar plugin for three feeds. Last week we stopped being able to move forward in time. Clicking the arrow on the upper right of the calendar doesn’t produce the next month calendar. Tried everything. Any ideas? Thanks. Richard

    Hi Richard,

Could you provide a link to your site, so I can take a look?

    Yes of course

The “My Twitter Ticker” plugin you have installed is causing a JavaScript error that is preventing the month navigation from working.

Are you using the My Twitter Ticker plugin? If not, the simplest solution would be to deactivate it.

Sorted. Huge thanks. Are there known problems with any other plugins or is it a case of try each one?

    Thanks again

My plugin conforms to most of WordPress’ standards and conventions in its construction, so should play nicely with any other plugin that also does so, but it’s difficult to account for plugins that cause errors and suchlike.

If you come across any further issues, let me know!

Sorry, didn’t mean to infer anything. Great support. Many thanks.
