I have been using gce for a few weeks now and it has been working fine but since I have updated the WordPress core to the latest version the other day my calendars have stopped working.

On the front end it just displays a blank calendar saying no events and when you are logged in and view the page it gives this warning message
‘Problem with the SSL CA cert (path? access rights?) Please ensure your calendar ID is correct.Problem with the SSL CA cert (path? access rights?) Please ensure your calendar ID is correct.’

It is propbally something stupid I have done as it was working originally but any help/advice/suggestions would be great.

    Thank You
    Stephan

    It is kind of sorted,
I also have role scoper installed (installed before i started using GCE) and after i deactivated it, GCE started working again.

I have then reactivated role scoper and the calendar feeds are still showing so it doesn’t look like it is effecting it (yet!)?
    any idea’s?

I have the same problem last week,
    I don’t think you’ve done something, I didn’t.
    Do you have any idea?

    Hi efrc78,
I don’t know if this will solve your problem as I’m not too sure what I did exactly,
    However,
I started disabling all my other plugins 1 by 1 and then reloading the website after each one to see if it made a difference. ( editing website in ie and viewing it in chrome, clearing chrome’s cache each time I reloaded it after deactivating a pluging)
After I deactivated the role scopper plugin, the calendars started to work again, there was some sort of conflict between gce and role scopper, I guess.
I re activated all the deactivated plugins bar role scopper and the feeds carried on working.
I deleted role scopper and then reinstalled it from scratch again it’s still all working now.
I don’t know what was wrong with it or where, but it was a (time consuming) quick fix.

    Hope that helps,
    Cheers
    Stephan

    Thanks Stephan,
I’ve created my API key in google and after that the calendar worked back again.
