[Plugin: Google Analytics Visits] The plugin don’t work, won’t validate…

  • I’ve write down this message in the developer blog but in case somebody has an answer..

    The plugin do not validate me in google analitics. My WordPress is now 3.0
    I get :
    Google Analytics Vists Alert: please check/recheck/enter your Google Analytics Profile ID.

    I’ve checked in the database and the user and pass is correct. Also the UA code (if the UA format is :UA-XXXXX-X and not any other format) so i guess so i can’t see where is the error.
    Peraps the plugin is broken? Could you manage the validation in the same way as Google analycator (it takes you to the google page to validation).
    Also other plugins (like google analytics dashboard) works fine. So i guess if i missing something in my server configuration i can’t see it.

    Pep is doing a great job i have to say. But still the plug don’t validate for me don’t show any data, only “check your Id account”…
    Otherwise the example code from google apis works flawlessly so it’s not a server problem.

    After looking the code: You should get your Id profile for this plugin to work.

    the Id requested is not the UA-xxx-x code you can’t get it from the google page. The only way i know right now its downloading the example code from google apis and get it from there.
    once you got that numerical code the plugins works like it should.

    Works perfectly! if it doesn’t let me know where it doesn’t and there is always a fix ??
    I use WP 3.0 and Google Analytics Visits 1.1.4.4 and it is working so well on my website!
