[Plugin: Google Analytics Visits] No valid root parameter or aggregate metric called "TotalResu
-
Problem applies to all users with this plugin active on their site as the statistics not updating. When they edit and save the plugin in WP Admin, this error message replaces the stats which no longer can be displayed.
The plugin author has not responded to my hails for a long time, so I hope someone with coding knowledge can help in implementing the solution provided here: https://code.google.com/p/gapi-google-analytics-php-interface/issues/detail?id=79
I’ve had to remove plugin from my site as due to this and am unable to find how the solution is to be applied to this plugin:
“I searched through the actual results GAPI retrieves from GA and the total results were in the XML-results. So there was no problem there. However, I discovered that they are using a different OpenSearch namespace. Previously they were using “https://a9.com/-/spec/opensearchrss/1.0/”, and they are now using “https://a9.com/-/spec/opensearch/1.1/”. Replacing the old namespace definition with the new one solves the problem.”
