[Plugin: Google Analytics Visits] Error message

Google Analytics Vists Alert: please check/recheck/enter your Google Analytics Profile ID.
Installed the 1.4.4.8 version (didn’t work!), 2. upgraded to 1.5.5.2 in WP 3.3.1 (didn’t work) received the same error message, though I’d entered the correct GA account ID’ s several times.
