• Hi,

Love your plugins but I’d like to remove the yoast feed from my dashboard as it is causing errors on my server.

Every time I load my dashboard, the following error is logged in apache:

[Fri Feb 12 17:10:59 2010] [error] [client <hidden>] MagpieRSS: Failed to fetch https://yoast.com/feed/ (HTTP Response: 302), referer: https://<hidden.com>/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=google-analytics-for-wordpress

I couldnt find any options in your plugins to disable it. I’d rather not use a 3rd party plugin to disable it so what file do I need to edit to stop it from showing up?

I tried using the ‘screen options’ on the dashboard to remove it from being displayed, but all that does is hide it. The call to the feed is still being done.

Not cool. I contacted the author of the script who said he’d look into fixing the problem but has done nothing and is not responding to emails anymore.

it is a shame because the Yoast plugins were pretty cool but I will be removing them all and no longer supporting them.

I do not like being forced to view the Yoast feed in my dashboard especially when every single time I load my dashboard, an error is logged about not being able to contact yoast.
