[Plugin: Google Analytics for WordPress] Google Analytics on external HTML Files
-
I have a javascript popup that uses an iframe to show an html file on my server. I figured that since it wasn’t a page/post in WordPress that the GA plugin wouldn’t do anything to it, but somehow I’m seeing it add its own GA code into the head of the HTML. I don’t want this to be counted as a pageview because it is skewing my statistics because it’s being counted as a second page, therefore anyone who sees the popup is not being counted as a bounce if they leave the page and they’re inflating my pages/visit stat. How can I prevent the GA code from entering my popup page?
