When I attempt to Authenticate with Google, I click Grant Access and it returns to the plugin screen and says “Unfortunately, an error occurred while connecting to Google, please try again:” Trying again returns the same error.

    Halp!

I’ve the same error message. Can somebody help us please ?

When I try to authenticate I receive the following error: “
The page you have requested cannot be displayed. Another site was requesting access to your Google Account, but sent a malformed request. Please contact the site that you were trying to use when you received this message to inform them of the error. A detailed error message follows:
The site “https://XXXXXXXX.com” has not been registered.”

This worked up until Mar 21.

Same exact error message. Anybody got any clue for fixing this?

have found nothing. Changed the settings to manually add the UA code, which works for one site but doesn’t seem to for another.

I decided to go with the manual installation. It’s very easy to just install the code in the header.php file and then submit it yourself with google analytics. These plugins think they are making things simpler, but then in step one I was already in trouble.
