• Hi Joost!

I love your analytics plugin and have not been able to replicate the auto outbound/download links tracking without it (i’ve been trying certain javascripts but none seem to work). Problem is I noticed that analytics seemed to stop working when i had WP-Supercache switched on. Was it maybe just a coincidence or do you know if this is really an issue? I need both these plugins!

Do let me know if i CAN use both these plugins at once, or if you could fix it somehow…
    Thanks!

  • I noticed the same thing. It appears that the cached files aren’t being properly counted, but this is not the problem with this plugin. It will happen if you just manually set up analytics on your blog.

I don’t know if other caching utilities, such as HyperCache, impact this. Anyone know?

On my server, we use eAccelerator, and an object cache plugin with WordPress and we still get speedy performance and far more accurate stats. But, folks, the most accurate stats will still be generated by apps that read your logs directly. These mumbo-jumbo measuring techniques may provide a fair part of the picture, but not all of it.

    Peace,
    Gene
