[Plugin: Google Analytics for WordPress] Enter your UA String link cannot be accessed

I have installed the plugin.

When I go to the settings page it has an error saying “Google Analytics is not active. You must enter your UA String for it to work.” with a link to the text “enter your UA String” when I click on that the next page that is shown says that I do not have privileges to access the page. The page is on my site and its url is https://XXXXXXXXX.XXXX/wp-admin/plugins.php?page=googleanalytics.php

I think this should work. Anyone having similar problems?
