• The title says it all. I would like to remove the google analytics summary from non-admin users’ dashboard. How do I do that?

    Thanks.

  • At the moment all WordPress users will see the summary widget, and there is no way to prevent that. However, thanks to your request, we’ll be adding support for disabling the widget for non-admins in the next release.

Do you know when the next release will be released? Is there a simple hack that I can use to disable it for now?

Google Analyticator 5.3 (being pushed out right now) has support for this. In a few moments you should be able to download it.

    Thank you very much.

I would like to give editors and above a view of the summary widget.

With the latest version it is set at admins and above or 8 points. Just not sure where the points setting is so presume I can adjust this now that I know that.

BY way of example. I like the way this is mananaged in Statpress reloaded where it is possible to grant views to others below admin quite easily.

Quick update – the role view setting was fixed in 6.1 – thanks

+# Revamps the disable tracking settings. Now uses user roles and provides more fine grain control. If you use something other than the default, be sure to visit the settings page to ensure your settings are correct.
    # Adds a new setting providing fine grain control over who can see the dashboard widget.

So I’d vote that this is resolved now and has been for a few weeks at least.
