• I have Global Translator installed on 2 sites on the same hosting account. My provider assures me both sites share their Apache configuration.

However, when accessing an untranslated page on one site (https://www.ashkarmusicanddance.com), I see a 503 status code in the server access log, a redirection in GT’s debug.log and the browser is redirected to Google.

On the other site (https://www.ronitbaras.com), the server access log shows a 200 status code, debug.log shows nothing and the browser receives the original English version of the page.

Things I’ve already tested (please don’t repeat):

Thinking this was related to WP-Super-Cache, I completely disabled it and removed its rules from .htaccess, so I don’t think this is the reason.

I have made the two sites’ .htaccess file identical, except for some redirections. The behavior is still as before, so I really don’t know where the difference is.

Permalinks are configured the same way for both sites.

    Any ideas?

    Anyone?

Hi I’ve tested the following urls:
    https://www.ashkarmusicanddance.com/it/
    https://www.ronitbaras.com/it/
and both of them correctly return a translated page with a 200 status code.
The 503 should be returned only when trying to access a not yet translated page.

Thanks for trying to help, pozzad.

Unfortunately, by the time you tested, translations have already occurred.

The best test is by using the most recent post on https://www.ronitbaras.com. I get redirected to Google Translation for the newsest post, but a few days later, I get an English version pretending to be the translated version.

I think this may indicate an incorrect redirection somewhere, which returns the original page instead of the translated one.

Any ideas how I can isolate the problem?
