Somewhere in the background the plugin in request domain.tld/page/page/v for every single page. We get so many emails a day about people seemingly appending a v to random urls on our site. We finally got sick of it and investigated ourselves. It appears to be on any page the plugin is used.

People accessing our site were getting falsely banned from this false positive 404 check.

We use the AJAX widget and have since removed it to prevent this issue from continuing to affect our users.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • That 404 on /v is a known issue and is pretty normal. It shouldn’t affect the functionality. We will try address it in the upcoming updates.
    Thanks

The reason for that issue if because Telegram calls that URL in its JavaScript. May be they never thought the widget can be displayed outside they domain.
