[Plugin: Get the Image] Would be even better if the thumbnails could link to the originaI image

I think sometimes there’s a bit of a misconception of what the plugin is supposed to do. This might be a lack of clarity on my part.

It is an image-based representation of a post. It’s not a representation of an image.

I’ll try to update the plugin to be a bit clearer on what’s it’s supposed to be used for in future versions.

Even without what I said before, the plugin would have to make the assumption that an original image existed. That would be a wildly inaccurate assumption in many cases.

I’ve just hired someone to include this feature for me. Works well.

It’s easy enough to do. I hope you didn’t pay too much. The developer probably could’ve coded it in 5 minutes.

It’s probably something that won’t be added to the plugin though as that’s not what the plugin is for.

what this plugin does that no other plugin does… that makes it a good image plugin is it allows the template to get ANY specific image by order, and there for not relying on the actual image name… that way one can make a standard template and the user only needs to ensure the order of the uploaded image is in correct order. No other plugin has this functionality. This makes for a very powerful tool in designing a template like a real estate website.

viva thumbs has features that i don’t like and that can’t be disabled
