Try again with the latest version of the plugin, v3.3.1. You may have been encountering a bug that has since been fixed.

The value to supply for “Custom field key” is the name you provided in the “Custom Fields” section when writing a page/post — which appears in the “Name” column. The text must match exactly.

    Hi scott,

I have a problem want to show custom field values as categories on my site as i couldn’t get them display at all. I am using the Classipress premium theme and i want to show custom field (country or state) to be displayed on the main page so that people can search by country or state.

Can you show me how it works? my site is https://kedey.com

Hi Scott, This is a great plugin, however, I am trying to use it in the sidebar widget without success.

I have triple checked my syntax for the “Name” of the column, but still the widget does not recognize.

Do I need to be putting anything in the template files? Am I missing something?

I installed, activated, went to widgets, dragged over to sidebar, enter the title, name, and set the post id to 0 so that it pulls the custom field that is within the specific post that is being viewed.

    any suggestions?????
    thanks!

Everyone please try v3.3.2 of the plugin. It should at least fix @hedua’s problem. If anyone else still has an issue, explain the issue you’re encountering.
