[Plugin: Gengo] “Languages” widget title translation
-
Hey guys! Sorry for the rather simple question from a novice programmer, but it seems that everything on my site is being translated perfectly but the word “Languages” in the widget for listing the languages, which always goes to the default English word. I have mo files for all languages and po files for some of them; I can view the po files with poedit and they all have a translation of “Languages” already coded in them. I saw someone suggesting in the other forum that an if clause be used, but I’m not sure where the code for the languages widget is so I can implement it… (I thought there would be a languages.php somewhere, but I couldn’t find it at first glance), and it shouldn’t need to be implemented anyway, right?
Sorry for the basic question!! I’m still in the process of learning php and the intricacies of gengo at the same time, but am so far getting SO MUCH out of gengo! You can see my problem at https://www.irishpolyglot.com (and apart from that, how well it’s working!) It makes no sense because the other widget titles (Categories, Recent Comments) are translated. Thanks as always!! ??
In a less serious, but still strange issue. The “travel” category is not being translated (while “website” is) in the Category widget… but if you click the word travel and the page refreshes, then you will see it translated in the same widget. This only started today since I upgraded the theme. Any suggestions as to why this occurs would be appreciated ??
Thanks! You guys rock!!
