This plugin endlessly attempts to access a file within the plug directory that does not exist, causing 404 errors. Wasting a lot of resources.

  • What file is it trying to access?

Once I know that I can look for a fix. Note that I’ve looked at my logs and don’t see any 404 errors

Can you download the update from this page, it should fix the issue: https://quick-plugins.com/quick-paypal-payments/qpp-update/

This update fails scans by security plugins because it is not an official release. Will you be including this fix in a general update?

I doubt there are many large website operators out there (me included) who would be willing to take the risk of downloading an un-official version of a plugin and installing it on our customer’s websites.

Do you have a development server or test site you can use to test the update? I will upload the update to the plugin repository but there is no point doing this until I know the bug has been fixed.

I don’t get any 404 errors but that doesn’t mean it’s the same for you

Hi,yes it does appear to fix the problem.

    Excellent!

WP4.8 is coming out in a couple of days so once I’ve checked everything is OK I’ll upload the plugin to the repository.
