[Plugin: GD LinkedIn Badge] Images load slow / Image doesn't have alt tag

I’ve been using this plugin for a while, but I have a couple of points about it.
The images don’t have alt tags, or width and height tags, so this is not validated by https://validator.w3.org
Also, the images load slowly since they are coming from LinkedIn’s website instead of form the module directory.
This is a minor thing, but on a site where I have several modules and alot going on in the theme layer, every little bit of performance makes a difference.
