[Plugin: Frontpage-Slideshow] any way to “slow down” the transition to next slide?

    Hey i was trying to figure out a way to slow down the transition to each slide. Right now, the slide changes too quickly for me and my readers to see what all it says for each article. It seems to be set on 1 second maybe? i think 2 or 3 would be better for what i want to achieve.

    Please lemme know how to do this, if i can just edit my short code and add a command, lemme know. Otherwise im gonna have to search through the plugins coding to find a way to do it and that could take hours ??

    Good feature request –

    A display time for each slide could be added as a custom field in addition to a main effect control timer.

    Yep, in fine, the plugin would allow people to tweak all aspects of slideshow : durations, transitions (when the slide disappear AND appear) but I would like to get a real stable version before to do so. When this stable version will be there, I will implement other features. Its all about time.

    Is there any way I can change this now? There has to be a setting deep down in the code somewhere that tells it when to switch… if you could simply tell me the file + the line of code i can do it myself, if not atleast tell me which file it would be in and what im looking for and il do it. any leads would be helpful and thanks for making such a great plugin, its my favorite plugin ive added so far.

    @johncorsner : to adjust temporization by yourself by now, just edit the frontpage-slideshow.php file, search ‘500’ into this file and replace with what you want : its ne number of miliseconds (1000 = 1second, 500 = 1/2 second). The transition between slides are in 2 times : the slide disappear (change the 500 at line 182) then the next slide appear, (change 500 from line 133 to 160)

    Note that you can change colors and textures of all elements of the slider (even the loading animation) to ensure a better integration in your theme : your website will look more professional that it already is !
