• Hello. I installed the plugin and I gave admin acces to people with Author roles, however when they log in, they are redirected to the home page of my site and they cannot access the admin section (the dashboard to post entries).

I have given them access to this by ticking the right box in the Settings section, Front End Users.

ANy ideas what I am doing wrong?

    Best!

  • I am having the same issue

@scamp50: I can’t reproduce this problem. It’s working on my end. Once the author role is checked, /wp-admin access should be allowed.

The only things I can think of are caching issues or conflicting plugins.

Have you tried refreshing your page a few times?
Have you tried logging out, refreshing your page a few times and logging back in again?
Have you tried viewing your page in a different browser?

Do you have any other plugins that manipulate roles and capabilities?
Do you have any caching plugins?
