[Plugin: Front-end Editor] Not working with Authors

    Using the most recent version of both the plugin and WordPress, I am unable to edit as an Author. I am able to edit as Admin, and when logged in as Author, I see the “edit” links when hovering over sections of posts by the Author, but nothing happens. I can’t even click on the post title to go to the actual post once I have clicked the Edit link.

    I am running the WP install on XAMPP, and wondered if that was the issue, but since I can edit items as Admin, I think there is some permission issues. The posts I am seeking to edit as Author are indeed posts that below to the Author I am logged in as.

    Any advice would help.

    Just tested and confirmed an issue… plugin conflict if you will…

    I am also using the Front End Users plugin. When the user does not have access to the admin side, the front end editor does not work as expected. When I enable the back end access to the Author role, the plugin works fine.

    That’s because FEE sends ajax requests to wp-admin/admin-ajax.php which is probably blocked by that other plugin.
