I’ve just added the first block of code from the tutorial into twentyten’s functions.php file and it works as expected.

I’m thinking of adding an option on the settings page for this, since many people will probably want to change it.

PS: The first line, with the <?php, tag is optional; I added it to get syntax highlighting.

Adding an option for it would be great!!!

When I tried adding the first block of code starting with the <php? it broke wordpress and i got an error. I took out the <php? part and the website started working again but the edit for categories completely disappeared.

I took it out now but i can wait until the option has been added.
    Thank you!

Check out the development version (2.1.1-alpha2).

That worked great! Thank you for the help!

Would this auto-update to development versions or to normal versions in the future?

Normal versions; there isn’t a Plugin Beta Tester plugin, unfortunately.

To clarify: the next stable release will be based on this dev version, so you won’t loose any functionality when you update.

Unless of course I decide to remove it for some reason. ??

Oh thank you very much! Please keep it ??
