[Plugin: Front-end Editor] Edit title but preserve permalink

Hi Scribu, a really great plugin. Thank You.
I think there’s a problem: every time I change the title will also change the permalink, resulting in a 404 from outside link.
Is there a way to change the title but preserve the permalink?
