I am brand new to web development. I’m looking for the easiest way to set up an archive with files that people can filter, search, download for free, rate and review. I want to set up an archive of downloadable pdf’s of golf course holes from major tournaments from the past few years. People can go to my site and do a search, or they can filter by the hole’s par (3, 4 or 5), which tournament (the US Open, the Masters, etc.), and/or the year it was played. They can see results with thumbnails showing a picture of each hole and a description, and they can download a pdf with a more detailed view of the hole they want (for free). If they have played that course they can rate and review the hole. If they can include a video of themselves playing the hole it would be a bonus.

I thought of using Woocommerce’s ecommerce digital download option (which I believe has all the features I want) but I don’t want people to have to add items to a Shopping Cart in order to download the files, because the downloads will be free. Should I use Woocommerce, hide the Price data, and include a link to the pdf download in the Description section for each hole?

Any ideas on a simple way to do this for a non-programmer would be very appreciated.
