It is possible to use the plugin for other competitions. But it requires some SQL knowledge or access to a tool like phpMyAdmin to change the plugin data (teams, matches, etc).

Steps to take:

• enter all your teams (in the same group)
• rename that group to “Jupiler League”
• delete all other groups
• enter the matches (all with one match type)
• change the name of that match type (e.g. to “competition” or “Jupiler League”

There are no admin screens to make this any easier.

And maybe there is some styling or texts you may have to change because the plugin was initially build for the European and World championships.

Version 2.x of the plugin has the ability to change the game schedule via the admin screens. So no more need for writing your own SQL code.

The steps above are a good help on how to set up the competition in one group/match type. The Help page of the plugin (in the WP admin) explains the new functionality of adding or changing matches.
