    Hello Publishink,

Thanks for letting me know about this bug. Sorry for any inconvenience caused. I have updated the plugin to v1.1 and fixed the error you had and made some compatibility improvements too.

Please could you update your star rating of this lite plugin once you are happy with the bug fixes.

Please can I also ask you to send me your contact details so that I may contact you privately. I would really love to give you a complementary version of the full Foobar plugin as a small thank-you for taking the time to let me know about this issue. If you have a website contact page that would probably be the best way.

    Looking forward to your response

    cheers

    Bradvin,

Thanks for the quick response. My site is Since 1964. There’s a contact by email in the footer, but no contact form.

I’ll give Foobar another go this afternoon.

    Thanks, Bradvin.

I’ve updated the free version. It works as expected and looks great.

While I realise the plugin is intended for displaying short messages, calls to action, etc., I noticed that when my message was too long, it simply didn’t display at all. Is there a character count restriction that isn’t mentioned, or have I missed it?

Should point out that I’m not against short messages, as it will force users to rethink what they are writing.

    Hey Jeff,

Thanks for the feedback. I will add something into the plugin to limit the characters (or at least explain that messages that are too long will not show correctly)

I have also sent a mail to you from your Since 1964 site about the full version of foobar

    cheers
    Brad

i will just jump in here and say that the paid version works great. i have not used this free version.

i just wish there was an automated way to keep on top of updates with the paid version. that’s a big advantage of the free version ironically.

    hello helloari

One of the things I am working on at the moment is making FooBar auto updateable like any other WP plugin. It’s a pity codecanyon does not offer this service
